Google reject blocking porn sites - Google is
the search engine giant decided to reject the idea of automatic block
pornography that is currently being discussed at the United Kingdom's bustling.
A proposal submitted by the United Kingdom Government to private parties and
your internet service provider or Internet Service Provider regarding the
automatic blocking for websites with pornographic content.
Google responded to the Proposal with negative feedback. Search engine
giant are in fact agree with the idea of limitation or blocking sites with
pornographic content but that makes google rejects is the mechanism. mechanism
in the proposal forcing users to use opt-in methods to access adult content, it
is referred to as a "mistake" by Google as cited from the BBC.
The method opt-in itself is a
method where the user has the right to define for themselves to follow anything
or access content through the login process as a media account identification
and verify.
Kirsty Hughes said that he
believed that children should not be accessing pornographic content, but we do
not agree with their mechanism. We must make the effort more than we did in the
past and make sure parents and really know the risk of children to the
internet.
Meanwhile the internet provider or ISP has a lot of mendpata criticism from among users because it is not too much action to prevent access to pornographic content.
Meanwhile, the mobile network has been widely implemented methods of opt-in to access adult content which requires users to prove their age before they can access adult content.
Policy on access to adult content or pornography is indeed a problem in many countries, including Indonesia, which currently are doing vigorous Kominfo blocking pornographic content access through an ISP.
