Coolsmartphone news - Samsung Galaxy Beam now available in UK.
Coolsmartphone news today is very special for UK residents
because Samsung Galaxy Beam now available in UK. Some of the
gadget was announced recently in accordance with the Samsung Galaxy
Beam for sheer geekiness: This is an Android smartphone with a 4in
screen, 1GHz dual-core processors, and running Android 2.3, but what
really sets it apart is its built-in projector - the 15 lumen pico
projector that can display images at 640 × 360. It is now available
for pre-order from Clove for £ 455 inc VAT.
With only 15 lumens of brightness, you should use a beam in a dark
room to get the big picture by projecting from a distance, but the
closer you are to the surface, less ambient light will affect the
image. Unfortunately, the screen itself Beam which does not use
Samsung's OLED technology, but has a less colorful TN panel with a
resolution of 800x480.
Although Beam looks like a very expensive toy, but it appeals to the
traveler who requires a business to make a quick presentation on the
trip. Not against other pico projectors like Microvision SHOWWX +
HDMI, 3M PocketProjector MP180 and Asus P1.
This file also comes with 8GB internal memory and microSDHC card
slot, and has a 5-megapixel main camera with an LED flash and
autofocus that can record 720p video at 30fps, as well as a
front-facing camera measuring 1.3 megapixel for video calling .
Upgrade to Android 4.0 promised for later this year. Although the
built-in projector, Beam is still a pretty slim 12.5mm.
